If you only need to use glasses for distance or reading, your prescription is single version; if you need this pair of glasses both for distance and reading, your prescription is bifocal.
If your prescription is single version with a relatively low prescription, you can choose a standard pair of lenses without extra cost.
If your prescription is single version, bifocal or varifocal with a relatively high prescription, you could choose from 1.67 Polycarbonated -Thin & Light, 1.67 -Super Thin or 1.74- Ultra-Thin, which makes your wearing experience lighter and more comfortable.
If you want two different prescriptions within one lens, you will need to order Bifocal glasses or Varifocals lenses. Bifocal glasses separate the lens into two optical powers, with the upper half being for distance and the lower for near vision. The two lenses have a distinct outline.
If you prefer to have a clear lens that still accommodates your prescription needs without the obvious outline, you could choose from our selection of Varifocals lenses. This type lenses contain transition part between distance and near vision, so you can easily enjoy clear version without moving your eyes up and down and a better appearance of your glasses.
HOW CAN I MEASURE MY PD (PUPIL DISTANCE) IF I ORDER ONLINE?
Your PD information is usually stated on your glasses prescription paper, if you cannot find or do not know your pupil distance, any optician will be able to provide it for you, which you can upload to our website.
HOW CAN I UPLOAD MY PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION?
Once you place an order for your frame and lenses, you can choose “Buy with prescription” by filling in the form; if you are still not sure about your prescription details, please contact our customer service team for further help. Once the prescription details are uploaded, you are considered to consent that your information is correct.
ABOUT YOUR PAYMENTS AND TAXES
We accept online payment in a secure environment through Sage or vouchers given by our website. Currently customers can pay their bill using a credit card or debit card. All transactions are shown in £ sterling.
We do not store personal or financial information in the process of payment, not do we share this information with 3rd parties.
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 20.0%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
ABOUT RETURNS, REFUNDS AND WARRANTY
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any non bespoke item purchased from Uniglasses for a full refund if the product is in good condition without influencing further selling.
Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number to our customer service, within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods. If however your order has already been dispatched, you will need to return the order to us.
Lenses cannot be returned since it is personal tailored product. any returns delivery fee will not be covered by UniGlasses. Gift wrap costs are non-refundable.
Once we receive the returned product and check the product is in good condition, we will immediately process your refunds. This usually takes around 5 working days.
If the item you received is faulty, you must contact our customer service in writing within 7 days of receiving the product, and then our customer service will tell you how to proceed with the return.
Once we receive the returned faulty product and we are sure the default is from manufacture defects instead of normal wear, tear or any accidental damage, we will start to process your requirement. It will take around 5 working days for us to deliver a new product for you.
If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please get in touch with our customer service quoting your order number. We will then advise on how to proceed with the replacement.

All sunglasses and glasses frames are covered by a 6-month warranty from the day of delivery. This covers faults from manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear and tear or accidental damage. Sunglasses and glasses lenses are covered against manufacturing defects and not against scratches.
Should the delivered merchandise be defective or its warranted qualities flawed, or should it develop defects within the warranty period as a result of poor materials or faulty manufacturing, then we will either repair the items or provide you with a replacement. We reserve the right to refuse your choice of subsequent fulfillment if it entails disproportionately high costs.
All claims must be made in writing (email, fax or letter) and any defects communicated to us without delay as soon as they become apparent.
Upon discovery of any obvious deficiencies, and in order to prevent any further deterioration of the product, you are obliged to inform us immediately. Defective product must be returned to us for inspection in the same condition at the time that it was discovered as being faulty.
ABOUT DELIVERY AND SHIPPING TERMS
All UK orders are sent through Royal mail. All international orders are sent via international signed for delivery. All orders will require a signature. If an item is delivered to you and has been damaged in transit, we must be notified within one hours of delivery so we can claim this with courier service. Upon delivery of your order you will become the owner of the goods, they will be held at your own risk and we cannot be held liable for their loss or destruction.
Goods will be sent to the delivery address as provided on your order. For any amendments to the delivery address, we must be notified via email prior to the processing of your order. It is essential that you ensure you give a delivery address where the recipient will be available to accept the goods, or you must be prepared to collect the goods from your post office or the delivery services office following attempted delivery.
If we receive your order by 3pm (GMT/BST) during working days, we can arrange the delivery within the same day. If it is dispatched the following day, please allow an extra day for delivery. If the order is placed during the weekend, it will be delivered on next Monday.
We aim for delivery of all UK orders within one to three working days, but delivery may take longer in exceptional circumstances. For UK deliveries goods cannot be classified as missing in the post until fifteen working days have passed since the day of posting. We cannot take any action during this period, but will immediately make enquiries and re-send orders if delivery has not been made following the 15 working day period.
International delivery times vary, most of orders will take 1-2 weeks to arrive. but can take up to 28 days due to delays at customs. Most orders require a signature. If 28 days or more have passed and your order has not been received, please contact us to inform them of the delay. We would then have to launch an international track and enquiry, and as soon as we have the results we could resend or refund accordingly.
All Import Duties and Taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Duties will be assessed by the importing country based on current laws governing imports.
We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries, either due to an incorrect address or unavailability of a signature on delivery. If goods are returned to us for these reasons we can re-charge for postage and handling, or deduct the shipping costs from the purchase cost if a refund is requested.
